Open Atelier for Children and Families

Museum Wiesbaden offers special educational programs in combination with our special exhibitions. Every third Sunday of the month, we invite children with their parents to let loose their creative potential in our open atelier.

After a special children’s tour, we follow up with drawing, painting and modeling together — inspired by our visit to the exhibition. Our various ateliers offer space for conversation, relaxation and presentation of our finished works.

For parents and children

Museum Workshop

Every Saturday a new artist or work of art comes into focus at Museum Wiesbaden. After discussing the original piece together, we work on the selected theme with a wide variety of materials in the museum’s workshop. Children ages 6—12 are invited to take this opportunity to learn more about the works in the museum and put their experience to practice creating works of their own. At the end of each session (1:30 p.m.) there is a “vernissage” of the finished works.
